Finally some Good News!!
The new compressor has been installed and everything is working as it should. Ice is being put in as we speak. We do need help for flooding, Dale Glendenning and Ralph Jamieson have been, and will be calling for help. If you are free and can help, please just go to the club and meet with Dale and Ralph. Fine tuning of flood time is always up to mother nature, but the flood times are tentatively set at 7am, 2pm and 8pm.
This Thursday is a very important night and we will need all hands on deck to put in the lines. We will need about 15-20 people with watering cans. So please make yourself available for Thursday.
That being said, we plan to be curling on Monday, Jan 23. So team skips please be in touch with your teams to let them know.
The club will be open on Friday night, Jan 20 from 7 to 9 PM and on Sunday, Jan 22 from 2 to 4 PM for those that want to come and verify that all members of their teams are up and ready to go. Some juggling of teams mates might be needed if some members are unable to complete the season.
New members are welcome for those nights and could use them to find a team to play with.
THE JUNIOR PROGRAM will resume on Sunday, January 29 at 1 PM
All current and new curlers are welcome. There is no charge for NEW CURLERS on the first day for youth programs. Let your child give the sport a try, and then you can decide if this is the right sport for them. Programs start for youth at the age of 8 years old.
